About Darby

I have worked with kids all around the country in different locations since I was 12. I love kids and have always had a passion for working with them, which is why I am pursuing a career in special education. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Seattle University, which has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding child development and behavior. My experience includes working as a Montessori Teacher's Assistant, where I fostered the holistic development of young learners and created inclusive learning environments. Additionally, I nannied for a family for four summers in a row while in high school, teaching me a great deal about managing schedules, being organized, and making life as easy as possible for the parents. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development and have various certifications, including Adult and Infant/Child First Aid and CPR, and Food Handlers.
