About Kate

I'd describe my personality as fun, compassionate, and organized! I like working with kids because I get to not only help them learn, but learn from them as well. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with families that I have a shared trust with, whether that be short term or long term jobs. I started working with kids when I was in middle school assisting dance classes at my studio. My other experience includes babysitting, summer camps, and outdoor school. In my spare time, I like to create! Dance and writing are my two outlets which allow me to be creative and artistic, while still thoughtful and motivated in the work I produce. One thing you should know about me is I am extremely organized! Google calendar is my best friend and it is important to me that I make sure everyone feels valued in their time! My skills include connecting to the child in whatever level they may need-- I want kids to feel safe and supported while in my care, as well as have fun!
