About Carina

Between the years 2003 and 2006, I ran my own, personal, licensed home daycare. Home Swede Home daycare. This included a total of six children for 50 hours a week; at this time, I also raised my own four children. The ages of these children were anywhere from three months to 5 years old. When the children were in my care, I took the kids on field trips to zoos, parks, and occasionally the pool. While the children were in my care, we also had puppet shows, sang songs, and played with all kinds of educational toys. Prior to this, I worked as an Au-pair for three different families during my twenties--for a total of two and a half years. In preparation for working with children, I received a status of Childcare Provider in Sweden. This required a year's worth of study and student teaching. I have always had a passion for care-giving--both children and the elderly. I have a CNA license and have worked for the elderly for eight years.
