I am a fun and experienced Academic Tutor who has been successfully teaching, tutoring, coaching and mentoring students K-12 since 2003. I teach core subjects like Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts as well essential study skills, executive functioning skills and work habits that are prerequisites for success in higher education. I also work with students helping them to pass placement exams and standardized tests. My background is in Psychology and Educational Therapy so I am very skilled at working with students who have any kind of developmental/behavioral challenges like Autism, Asperger's, ADHD, Dyslexia or simply lack the motivation/confidence to do well in school. Parents can see major improvements in their child's grades and attitude towards learning within 90 days of working with me one-on-one. I have excellent references, reliable transportation, and weekend/evening availability. I can also pass a background check if needed.
