About Rebecca

Hello! My name is Rebecca. I am a special education teacher from the Bay Area. Currently, I am taking a break from teaching and plan to teach internationally next year. As I plan for this transition, I am tutoring part-time, and nannying for children and pets because well, it's what I'm good at! I've grown up with turtles, parakeets, fish, and cats. My own cat, who I adopted as a 3-month-old kitten, actually just passed at 19 years old. About 6 years ago, I helped my younger brother adopt a loving lab who serves as an emotional support dog, honestly for us all. We raised her from a 10-week-old puppy. I have watched many friends' and clients' dogs and cats, in all shapes and sizes, from small terriers in Humboldt County to Siberian huskies in San Francisco. My experience in pet sitting ranges from sitting for just a day to up to 2 weeks at a time. Working remotely also helps create a flexible lifestyle that I know all pets enjoy because it means more human time at home :)
