About Anna Isabella

Hi! My name is Bella and I'm a bilingual educator, copywriter, and gardener. I've been working with children since I was old enough to be a neighborhood mother's helper (for 25 cents an hour!), and my work continues to involve kids at every step. I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Food Studies from NYU and just moved to Brooklyn from the North Fork, where I was a garden educator at the Ross and Hayground Schools in Bridgehampton. I've worked with infants all the way through to high school seniors, both in educational and childcare capacities. With a background in agriculture as well as English and Spanish literacy and language acquisition, I help children communicate their needs, problem-solve, and build better relationships with themselves, each other, and their communities. As a garden, arts, and language educator, I utilize a variety of material to engage children in their surroundings. I'm also trained in Nonviolent Communication and use these skills in all areas of my work!
