Hola, familias. My name is Brenda, a passionate educator from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've worked with children since 2015 and currently teach at Wise Wonder NYC. I also spent two years as a nanny, gaining extensive experience with newborns, toddlers, and school-aged kids. I can assist with tummy time, sleep training, and developmental milestones, and I've attended swimming classes with newborns to 3-year-olds to support early motor skills. I have experience caring for children with special needs and have worked alongside physical therapists (PT), occupational therapists (OT), and speech-language pathologists (SLP) to support motor, sensory, and communication development. I'm First Aid certified, ensuring your child's safety is my top priority. As a Spanish tutor, I make learning fun with stories, songs, and hands-on activities. We are really lucky to have hired Melany full-time to take care of our two toddler boys. Her ability to handle even the most challenging situations with a calm demeanor has been invaluable. When the kids are being fussy with food, she comes up with adorable food art ideas to get them interested. She's extremely responsible when driving, and arranges playdates, discovers fun activities to do in our neighborhood that are beneficial for the kids. My kids absolutely adore her and I am incredibly grateful for the positive influence she has had on my children. I would recommend her to anyone seeking the very best in childcare.
