About Amanda

My name is Amanda , I am certified in ECE. I have a very strong interest in this job. With the experience of working both, the Elementary schools and at a Child Care Center, as well as in activities outside the classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer. My first classroom teaching experience was, when I was taking Early Childhood Education Classes at Arlington Career Center, at an Elementary School which was located in front of my school. I used to go there to assist classroom teachers. I also used to assist teacher at a child care center which was in the same building where I was taking ECE Classes. I did this for 2 years. On September of 2013, I started to work for Arlington Extended Day Program as an child care Aide with Arlington Public Schools. As a Child Care Aide, I helped children with their homework, I supervised classroom and playground activities, I directed students into safe activities, and etc. I am currently working as a Teacher Assistant with APS.
