My mother has been a preschool teacher for about 6 years. I would go in and help her with the kids as a volunteer service. My sister was a 7th grade math teacher in arlington county. So effective child care runs in the family! I've been in the dental field for the past four years. I was a dental assistant, oral surgery assistant, and a dental appliance technician. I'm looking to take a break from teeth and get back to my passion for child care.

Makana did such a great job playing blocks with my 2 year old son that he just kissed me goodbye when I left...no crying or meltdown! Although he was still bashful, she helped him feel at ease and got him, and my infant daughter, to bed. She's very sweet with the kids and we'll use her again if she's available.
