About Claire

Claire started working for our family in July 2021 when our daughter was 5 months old and has been with our family until now. During this time Claire worked ~40 hrs a week for us and was responsible for the supervision, playtime, feeding, and care of our daughter. She created a safe and stimulating environment for her by participating in developmentally-appropriate activities with her inside and outside the home. She was also tasked with light household work as it pertained to our daughter (ie. doing her laundry, tidying her nursery, and organizing her toys). Claire is a motivated and experienced nanny who helped us find appropriate classes and activities for our daughter as she grew. When we were overwhelmed by the various toddler class offerings she helped us research and find wonderful music, naturalist and tumbling classes to go to. Beyond that, Claire also reads up on weekly local happenings to find fun activities to do like library programming, DPW touch a truck events, or farm visits. We trusted Claire to drive our daughter to these various activities and take her to the occasional swim lesson and town pool in the summer months. While playing at home, Claire provided an engaging and educational environment for our daughter. She researched age and developmentally appropriate crafts and games for our daughter. Our daughter is ahead on her language development milestones and we sincerely believe that Claire has contributed significantly to this by practicing letters, phonics, and using a large vocabulary with her. Claire is warm, professional, dependable and flexible. She has brought our family a tremendous amount of joy over these past 2.5 years. We will miss Claire dearly as our daughter starts full time preschool and we hope she finds a family to work with that finds her as wonderful as we do.
