About Amanda

As someone with a passion for nurturing the growth and development of children, my 20 years of experience as a caregiver have allowed me to make a positive impact on the lives of many children. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with creativity and imagination, allows me to engage children effectively. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates via text or phone calls to discuss their child's day and address any concerns that may arise. While I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules, I find that outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games are effective in keeping children engaged and entertained. With early childhood development coursework, First Aid Training, and CPR Training, I am fully equipped to care for up to four children between the ages of 0 and 11. I am also comfortable helping with cooking and meal preparation, travel, and swimming supervision.
