About Alexandria

Hi all, I'm Alexandria. I completed my masters of science in Human Development and Family Science with specializations in childhood and geriatrics and also have a B. A. in Psychology. My passion for working with older adults stems from both personal and professional experience. Professionally, I've worked with older adults the past two years. I've run an intergenerational program out of URI that teaches technology to older adults. Through this experience, I worked with over 100 older adults and learned every thing from Medicare/Medicaid information to medication management to fun extra curricular activities. Personally, I cared for my grandmother during her battle with cancer, my grandfather during his battle with ALS, another family member after a stroke, and currently advice a family friend on how to care for their mother with Alzheimer's.
