About Alana

I'd describe my personality as genuine, optimistic, and hardworking. I like working with kids because I love watching children reach milestones and ensuring they are nurtured and supported. I know I can make a positive impact in children's lives with my personality and heart. My childcare journey began at home, long before I took on the position professionally. As an older sister with divorced parents, I took it upon myself to care and watch over my baby sister. At 14 years old I wanted to take off the training wheels and start utilizing my skills in the real world. Then in 2021, I decided to take on more responsibility and began professionally babysitting. I am a second year undergraduate at Loyola Marymount pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Public Relations. As a nanny I provided attentive and personalized care as I planned creative activities, formed routines around eating, sleeping and playtime. I am also CPR and first aid certified.
