About who needs care: My mom had a massive stroke on September 30th and spent several weeks in the Neuro ICU and in Rehab. She is now at my home and doing great, but I need someone to care for her while I am working 4 days per week at various times. Care needs: My mom is a sweet and special person so we are looking for a special care giver. She will need at least 2 meals (soft & small bite) per day prepped for her, help with toileting, bathing, dressing and assistance transferring from her wheelchair to the bathroom and bed and vice versa. Her schedule will need to be maintained for meals, PT exercises, and naps. Experience with stroke recovery and good with dogs is a plus. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping (as it pertains to mom), companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
