Please note that this is a part time job - 15 hours +. We live in Astoria and are looking for a nanny to primarily take care of our special need son from Monday to Friday 2; 30 p.m. to 6 p.m. with occasional overtime (rarely) and potentially evening babysitting (if interested). The job consists of spending the afternoon with our son, helping with homework and taking him to his weekly activities (PT, singing and music class), playgrounds... Experience with special needs is highly preferred.

My wife and I do field biology research during June and July and we need someone to provide care to our inquisitive and happy sons (ages 1 and 4) on the weekdays. We live at Mountain Lake Biology Station (near the Mountain Lake Lodge). We need the care giver to keep them safe and structure activities with them. We currently have a weekly, date night on Thursdays, between 5-7 p.m. Our sitter will be moving out of state, but we would like to continue our date nights. We live in downtown Frederick. We would ask that you help prepare dinner for the kids, eat with them, clean them up, and then play some toys together. Our boy is a great, very polite kid. He loves to help and is a big fan of schedules. Our girl is finding her voice more and more, and loves to be active. We would prefer if you had special needs experience which we can go into more detail about if there seems to be a good match. We value consistency and reliability.
