Youth ages 12-14 are invited to come and learn about urban farming, sustainable building, land stewardship, water conservation, and farm to table dining at our beautiful location at Hawk Creek Farm. By supporting the completion of special projects and daily farm care, youth gain direct experience acting as land stewards. Daily activities include farm care, composting, animal care, teacher guided exploration on a topic of their choosing, and the creation of special projects that help the farm! Bring your little ones to join the fun and build community each week! From chemical reactions to squishy glow in the dark fun, our Toddler STEAM class provides children an opportunity to learn through play. They will delight themselves by getting their hands messy with STEAM experiments and projects, while nurturing their cognitive growth, and honing their problem-solving and fine motor skills. Note: There is no class on 4/03.

Music and art go hand and hand! In this class, our most senior teacher Natalie will explore music with her students, teaching them original JAMaROO Kids songs! Then she’ll introduce them to arts and crafts working together throughout the session to create musical instruments from recycled items and beautiful fun visual aids to go with the songs they learn. In this class, children will work on developing and Strengthening the following: Fine Motor Skills, Speech and Language skills, Cognitive Development, Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Colors, Numbers, Shapes, Sensory Exploration, Patience, Impulse Control, Ensemble Singing, Matching Temp, Rhythm and Pitch 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class.
