Many questions come up before a session so we figured we would write this and send it out to assist everyone. I would keep this somewhere safe so you can refer to it. What equipment do I bring? a) For Soccer - Bring a soccer ball. • Under 3 Size 1 • 3 Years - 5 years Size 2 • 5 Years- 8 years Size 3 • 8+ Size 4 or larger b) For Baseball – Bring a Hitting T, Bat and a few whiffle/tennis balls. No hard balls please. • What Type of Hitting T? Anything you want to afford. They all break. Kids destroy things – it is in their nature, you just have to decide how much do you want to spend to replace it. See Amazon for MANY price choices. Yes, Little Tykes is fine. c) For Basketball – Bring a Basketball • What Type of Basketball? Anything but not a mini! You know the ones the size of a slightly larger Softball. Nothing Smaller than 7”. A Junior Basketball 25.5” is great for 5+. Then as your kids get older look to move to 27.5+ I am part of a Multi-Sport Class. What Sport is this week? The B.E.S.T. Little Ballers Association (LBA) is a learn and play recreation basketball league for ages 4-6 in 3v3 format for maximum playing time. Players will enroll in a weekly class where they will learn and practice their skills as a group! Our B.E.S.T. Coaches will introduce the game of Basketball to your player by teaching the fundamentals of the sport using the BEST Basketball Curriculum. Over the course of the league, your player will learn how to dribble, shoot, pass, and compete as a team. Those skills will translate to the court during our Coach led game days twice a season. Games will be packed full of fun and energy with pro-style player announcements before the game and in-game announcers. All while B.E.S.T. coaches guide and ref the game for maximum fun and learning. Games consist of 5-minute running quarters and best of all you do not have to commit to any other days as games will be during normal practice times. Join us for our Parents Nights Out - For kids bathroom independent to 15 years old! *Kids will be age split into groups*!! Drop your kids off @ B.E.S.T. from 5pm to 9pm, and go enjoy your night out! We will keep your kiddos engaged in exciting sports and games while enjoying a fun-filled and safe environment! Chicken Nugget Dinner included for all participants. Hello Beginners Edge Sports Training or BEST SPORTS Parents, This is the Office of Beginners Edge Sports Training. We will be starting your players sports class session soon. Many questions come up before a session so we figured we would write this and send it out to assist everyone. I would keep this somewhere safe so you can refer to it. What equipment do I bring? a) For Soccer - Bring a soccer ball. • Under 3 Size 1 • 3 Years - 5 years Size 2 • 5 Years- 8 years Size 3 • 8+ Size 4 or larger b) For Baseball – Bring a Hitting T, Bat and a few whiffle/tennis balls. No hard balls please. • What Type of Hitting T? Anything you want to afford. They all break. Kids destroy things – it is in their nature, you just have to decide how much do you want to spend to replace it. See Amazon for MANY price choices. Yes, Little Tykes is fine. c) For Basketball – Bring a Basketball • What Type of Basketball? Anything but not a mini! You know the ones the size of a slightly larger Softball. Nothing Smaller than 7”. A Junior Basketball 25.5” is great for 5+. Then as your kids get older look to move to 27.5+ I am part of a Multi-Sport Class. What Sport is this week? In a nutshell, the rule typically is, if you miss it, you miss it, but always check with your Park and Rec Center or Registration form for a more “official” answer. REGISTERED THROUGH B.E.S.T.
