Welcome to a season of sensory magic at Messy Art Lab! Our Winter Toddler Classes are bursting with hands-on fun and creative exploration. Each week, little artists will dive into handmade play dough , explore colorful sensory stations, and get immersed in activities that are perfect for little hands and big imaginations. Messy play is encouraged, and little ones will love the chance to explore, squish, and create. Class Experience: Toddler Messy Art Exploration' is a sensory and art-based experience for children. Activities include, but are not limited to exploring with slime, doughs, clay, painting, sifting, transferring, and more. This class is a time for caretakers to observe and support the children letting them follow their own pace through the experiences set up in class. Notes To make the most of this experience, please follow your child's lead. Step back and observe. We invite you to resist the urge to “show” your child the “right” way because in doing that we end up robbing our children of that magical moment when they discover it all on their own. We truly believe that the experience is more valuable than any end product. Parents, if you will be sending a nanny or grandparent with your child, please take a brief moment to share the Messy Art Lab approach. Our Friendship Art Camp is a vibrant space designed to inspire young artists to explore the themes of love, kindness, and friendship through the world of art. Let’s bring art to life and hearts together! 💖 Requirements : - 4-8 years old ( NO EXCEPTIONS) - Children must be ready to follow safety guidelines and engage in their projects for 30 minutes or more. - Children must be fully potty-trained and capable of handling their bathroom needs independently. - Any medical conditions (such as allergies or diabetes) and/or behavioral needs (neurodiversity, trauma) your child may have must be informed during the sign-up process. This information will help us make any necessary preparations and provide a supportive and enjoyable environment for everyone. Please note that all information shared is kept confidential. The policy for Messy Art Lab Camps is as follows: - 100% refund for cancellations within 24 hours of registration. - All enrollment fees include a non-refundable deposit of 20%. - Refund of enrollment fee minus 20% non-refundable deposit if cancellation is made prior to 30 days of session start date. - No refund for cancellations made within 30 days of session start date, unless the spot is filled, in which case a refund credits minus the 20% non-refundable deposit will be issued. - Cancellations must be requested in writing via email. - Approval for transfer of camp week to another week will be determined on a case-by-case basis and per availability, with a penalty fee of 20% non-refundable deposit if made within 30 days of original camp week start date.

Our Baby Music Classes for infants and young toddlers provide an opportunity for parents and/or caregivers to sing and dance with their little ones to build and strengthen connections. Music supports and nurtures all areas of child development: Social-emotional, Cognitive, Language and Literacy, as well as both areas of physical development, fine and gross motor development. During these classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn many new ones, often using fun visual props to help support language development and symbolic thinking.  Most of our staff has extensive background in Early Childhood Education, intentionally exposing children to a rich variety of language, beats, and sounds while remaining developmentally appropriate. Our programs offer a joyful and rewarding experience for both adults and children, providing a great occasion for babies to interact with other babies and parents to meet other parents. In class, children go on a yoga adventure using their imaginations and the art of storytelling to help navigate through yoga poses. Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. On our journey, we play yoga games, sing yoga songs, and practice breathing techniques. Our goal is to give young children a developmentally appropriate way to explore yoga poses, mindfulness and social emotional learning. Move, sing and dance with Teacher Jamaica at JAMaROO Kids Union Street! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers). Our music curriculum has been developed to spark creativity and incorporate imaginative play. Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Throughout the year, our teachers will use a variety of simple instruments and introduce children to different genres of music from around the world. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering preschool soon.
