Little Folkies is a multi-award winning early childhood folk music program for parents and kids ages 0-5. Little Folkies Family music class welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together like one big family band! There is never a dull moment in this class, with the teacher leading the students through fun and engaging finger play activities, hand movements, fun lap songs, call and response singing and hands-on jamming with shakers and wooden kids instruments. In class, children go on a yoga adventure using their imaginations and the art of storytelling to help navigate through yoga poses. Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. On our journey, we play yoga games, sing yoga songs, and practice breathing techniques. Welcome to a season of sensory magic at Messy Art Lab! Our Winter Toddler Classes are bursting with hands-on fun and creative exploration. Each week, little artists will dive into handmade play dough , explore colorful sensory stations, and get immersed in activities that are perfect for little hands and big imaginations. Messy play is encouraged, and little ones will love the chance to explore, squish, and create. Class Experience: Toddler Messy Art Exploration' is a sensory and art-based experience for children. Activities include, but are not limited to exploring with slime, doughs, clay, painting, sifting, transferring, and more. This class is a time for caretakers to observe and support the children letting them follow their own pace through the experiences set up in class. Notes To make the most of this experience, please follow your child's lead. Step back and observe. We invite you to resist the urge to “show” your child the “right” way because in doing that we end up robbing our children of that magical moment when they discover it all on their own. We truly believe that the experience is more valuable than any end product. Parents, if you will be sending a nanny or grandparent with your child, please take a brief moment to share the Messy Art Lab approach. Developmental Playgroups Age Group: 1-3 years Our Developmental Playgroups are offered in 9 week sessions, with the next cycle running from January 14 – March 11, 2025. These playgroups are free of charge and are designed for children ages 12 to 36 months (or possibly younger) and their caregivers. Led by a trained facilitator, each session provides a structured, guided play environment tailored to meet the developmental needs of the children in the group. And if that's not enough, you will get to even paint a real Vespa, a unicorn sculpture, a giant faux cake, and literally everywhere in the glow-in-the-dark room! • welcome activity: your guests will get to participate in a collaborative canvas, it becomes a keepsake! • main project: our party instructors will guide a fun project that children will take home 4.
