This club is all about the importance of pretend play and supporting your kids' imagination! Each week your kiddo will be greeted by a new theme packed with costumes, pretend play, and a themed craft! The perfect after-school adventure to spark your kiddos!

***NO CLASS 12/26*** This class uses creative story-based games to engage toddlers in their early learning experience in athletic development. Kids will learn the basics of kicking a ball along with motor skill development, coordination and socialization. This class is a PARENT PARTICIPATION class. On Easter day in the Hundred Acre Wood, Roo and his friends Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore visit Rabbit's house, where they expect to celebrate Easter. Upon arrival, the friends discover that Rabbit has replaced the Easter celebration with a "Spring Cleaning" Day. Our pizza nights include theater games, costumes, a film-related craft, and of course… pizza (and carrot sticks)! There are few experiences more transformative and identity-shaking than becoming a parent. In this group you will find a safe space to process all the challenges and surprises that come along with the arrival of a new family member. We strive to create a place where a parent and baby can come and just BE. Connect with new mamas & papas, practice breastfeeding/bottle feeding in a safe space, talk with other new parents about current concerns and joys, and enjoy connection and support when needed in a casual environment. Babies always welcome, of course! In addition to traversing the joys and challenges of being new parents, you will also learn about the signs and symptoms associated with postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, and will learn realistic ways to ensure that you are connected with the care and support that you need. Our groups are inclusive, welcoming & open to all. They are donation based. Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. Move, sing and dance at JAMaROO Kids Noe Valley! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers). Our music curriculum has been developed to spark creativity and incorporate imaginative play. Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Throughout the year, our teachers will use a variety of simple instruments and introduce children to different genres of music from around the world. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This class includes: Music, Movement, Dance and Storytime. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class. If you would like to play in our space for longer please consider signing up for one of our open playtime hours- these can also be found on our registration page. Thank you for your cooperation! Come spend the Wednesday mornings at JAMaROO Kids Noe Valley with this fun class combo. Arrive as early at 10:00 to play in the space, take the arts and crafts class from 10:15-10:45, enjoy open play from 10:45-11:00 and do music & movement from 11-11:30, followed by an 15 additional minutes of free play until 11:45! 10:15-10:45 Preschool Music & Movement This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering into preschool soon. These preschool classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll sing traditional songs and also sing original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our own team. Many songs will focus on the alphabet, building vocabulary, and basic math skills. We will begin to explore basic music theory by introducing children to fun characters such as Octave the Octopus! Each month our curriculum will change to ensure children stay excited about class and are always learning something new while providing them with enough repetition to master new skills and vocabulary. 11-11:30 Preschool Arts & Crafts This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering preschool soon. These preschool classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll Explore different art mediums while fostering speech and language development and exploring textures, colors and shapes!
