Join us on a week-long journey as we explore the theater! Puppet theater, that is. Working in small groups, campers will create scripts, sets, and puppets from scratch. They will learn about the history of the theater, as well as what it takes to bring their characters to life. By the end of the week campers will put on their own theatrical performances. Come with us as we learn about the fort built to protect the San Francisco Bay during the Civil War. Watch the engines that pull all of the cable cars up and down the steep hills around San Francisco. See the Immigration Station where thousands of people first set foot into the United States in the early 1900’s. Climb into the USS Pampanito and the SS Jeremiah OBrien to see two amazing WW2 ship museums. History 2 week at UAC offers campers a variety of opportunities to experience history like never before.
