Welcome to Footsteps Full Day Camp at Nesbit! **Enrollment is included with a minimum of 3 days per week enrollment. If you are not enrolled full time, please add the drop in fee listed on the extras tab** Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, wheels*, gardening, and activity clubs. Two healthy snacks are included each day, lunch is not provided. *Children are allowed to bring bikes, scooters, and other non-motorized wheels to ride during the day. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn, and children may only use the items they bring.

Welcome to Racquets & Swim New this summer we are expanding racquet sports to include pickle ball, badminton, and table tennis. Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont, and support from the USTA NorCal, will again offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program. This program combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports in a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem, and social skills. All participants receive an H.I.T.S. t-shirt, wristband, ball, certificate, players/parents manual and more!!!

And our swim camps provide the opportunity to build confidence and learn basic swim skills or improve swim skills, with time to enjoy the water, and have a fun camp experience! The day begins with morning check-in, activities, and snack, and then the group heads to Highlands Rec Center for organized swim lessons and supervised recreational swim! Lifeguards are on duty! Then we head back to the center for some serious camp fun, including snacks, exploring, quiet activities, outside playtime, organized games, arts and crafts, games, jump rope & more...a busy day with plenty of exercise and activity! Wednesday Special Event: Juneteenth Celebration at Nesbit School featuring: o Juneteenth-inspired art projects o Lunch prepared by staff and families o Games and activities teaching Juneteenth history and Black history o An exhibit on Black inventors and their groundbreaking contributions Friday Special Event: Camp Footsteps Future Inventors Contest – Campers will showcase their innovative projects, celebrating creativity and ingenuity.
