Welcome to Footsteps Full Day Camp at Barrett! **Enrollment is included with a minimum of 3 days per week enrollment. If you are not enrolled full time, please add the drop in fee listed on the extras tab** Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, wheels*, gardening, and activity clubs. Two healthy snacks are included each day, lunch is not provided. *Children are allowed to bring bikes, scooters, and other non-motorized wheels to ride during the day. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn, and children may only use the items they bring.

And our swim camps provide the opportunity to build confidence and learn basic swim skills or improve swim skills, with time to enjoy the water, and have a fun camp experience! The day begins with morning check-in, activities, and snack, and then the group heads to Highlands Rec Center for organized swim lessons and supervised recreational swim! Lifeguards are on duty! Week Two – Future Inventors Dates: June 16–20, 2025 - Closed Thursday, June 19 for Juneteenth The future is now as campers are inspired to dream, design, and create with hands-on projects, STEAM challenges, and interactive activities to spark curiosity and imagination! Wednesday Special Event: Juneteenth Celebration at Nesbit School featuring: o Juneteenth-inspired art projects o Lunch prepared by staff and families o Games and activities teaching Juneteenth history and Black history o An exhibit on Black inventors and their groundbreaking contributions Friday Special Event: Camp Footsteps Future Inventors Contest – Campers will showcase their innovative projects, celebrating creativity and ingenuity.

Week Four – Stars, Stripes, and Summer Fun! Dates: June 30–July 3, 2025 (No camp on July 4th) Celebrate the 4th of July with crafts, classic games, and old-fashioned summer fun to celebrate America’s birthday! Campers will dive into red, white, and blue-themed activities, create handmade decorations, and enjoy outdoor games and relays inspired by traditional celebrations. Wednesday Field Trip: All-Day Camp Out at camp featuring tents, special snacks, lunch, and campfire stories. Thursday Special Event: Stars and Stripes Celebration – A parade, field games, water play, and more to kick off the holiday weekend.

Week Seven – Under the Sea Dates: July 21–25, 2025 Dive into an unforgettable underwater adventure as we explore the fascinating world of marine life through creative crafts, water play, and absorbing activities to spark curiosity about the ocean. Join us for a week of underwater exploration and fun and a greater appreciation for our oceans and marine life. Wednesday Field Trip: Marine Science Institute – Campers will enjoy a hands-on learning experience at the Marine Science Institute, exploring marine habitats and interacting with aquatic creatures. Friday Special Event: Tommy’s Pirate Adventure Puppet Show – The Puppet Art Theater Company will bring a swashbuckling ocean-themed puppet show to camp, filled with adventure, humor, and imagination.
