Winter Semester (January-Mid December) This class is for students who want to try different mediums, are new in the world of art, or who want to build on basic art techniques. All supplies provided as students explore techniques, learn basics of color theory, and try different mediums used to draw and paint. Students are introduced to the elements and principles of art to create full, functional, and stylish compositions. This class will explore the different mediums used in drawing such as charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and pastel along with painting in oil, acrylic, gouache and watercolor. This is a beginning class that allows students to test a variety of materials in order to find which medium to continue learning about and then join one of our more in depth classes on that medium. Students are guided to build and sculpt using different clay techniques with a focus on polymer clay. This class is great for beginners who want to start working with clay. While exploring the clay medium, students develop skills needed to create three dimensional forms like animals, food, and more. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Students learn to use elements and principles of design to create full, functional, and stylish compositions with watercolor and ink. Through the step by step guidance of an instructor students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while exploring drawing, pen and ink illustration, and watercolor. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Winter Semester (January-Mid March) This class is for high school and college art students. Join us for classical instruction, covering a variety of techniques and skill building, with a degreed art instructor. Students will choose their mediums and subjects for their pieces with guidance from the instructor. Portfolio development will include completed works of art as well as research regarding various schools and programs students are interested in. The main focus of this class is to create a portfolio to assist with placement in the art field, work towards scholarships, and program acceptance. Students will also be exposed to art competitions including how to enter, how to present their artwork for competition, and what types of competitions are available. Winter Semester (January-Mid March) If you’re a Teen who is a fan of action, fantasy, art, or anything in that vein, then come join in on the Dungeons & Dragons Game & Art class! This class is a fusion of traditional art projects and social team-building games; we will be learning how to draw and sketch quickly as we act out characters in a narrative, while also creating maps, portraits, and inventory sheets to fully design and flesh out a character of our own. This class will help you learn how to build worlds, create characters, and work with others on a personal and group basis. The class is separated as follows: 1/2 gameplay and sketching, 1/2 art projects. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!
