This class is designed for Kindergarten through 2nd grad aged children to help them learn and develop fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students work in a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor and acrylic. They will work on adding finished work to their art portfolio This class is a small group which allows for development in the areas each individual artist needs. Students will be given practice to do at home during the week to help develop and build their skills. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Students are guided to build and sculpt using different clay techniques with a focus on polymer clay. This class is great for beginners who want to start working with clay. At this camp your child will paint a scene looking up at the silhouette of a water creature with acrylic and glow in the dark paint on canvas. Your child will come home with a completed work of art. Winter Semester (January-Mid March) "Expressive Impressionism" takes the core techniques of Impressionism but adds a stronger emphasis on conveying emotion and personal interpretation through more dynamic brushwork, and exaggerated color. This course explores Impressionist themes, techniques, and various impressionistic artists. Students choose their own subjects and mediums while implementing the lessons learned in class. The instructor is an expert in chalk pastel, oil, acrylic, or watercolor. Supplies are available for use but it is encouraged for students to bring their own in order to continue working in their own studio between classes. We can provide a recommended supply list for the medium of choice if needed. Various techniques will be demonstrated to help guide students to their project goals. Students may choose to follow along step by step or work more independently, getting guidance as needed. Either way is welcome. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!
