Welcome to a season of sensory magic at Messy Art Lab! Our Winter Toddler Classes are bursting with hands-on fun and creative exploration. Each week, little artists will dive into handmade play dough , explore colorful sensory stations, and get immersed in activities that are perfect for little hands and big imaginations. Messy play is encouraged, and little ones will love the chance to explore, squish, and create. Class Experience: Toddler Messy Art Exploration' is a sensory and art-based experience for children. Activities include, but are not limited to exploring with slime, doughs, clay, painting, sifting, transferring, and more. This class is a time for caretakers to observe and support the children letting them follow their own pace through the experiences set up in class. Notes To make the most of this experience, please follow your child's lead. Step back and observe. We invite you to resist the urge to “show” your child the “right” way because in doing that we end up robbing our children of that magical moment when they discover it all on their own. We truly believe that the experience is more valuable than any end product. Parents, if you will be sending a nanny or grandparent with your child, please take a brief moment to share the Messy Art Lab approach. Class Requirements -Make sure to dress your child (and yourself) in clothes you don't mind getting messy since some paint might stain. -One adult max per child. What does science have to do with food? How does gooey batter turn into a light fluffy cake? Why does cilantro taste great to some and terrible to others? Through kitchen experiments and other hands on activities, students will investigate what is inside food and discover the science behind what's on our plates. NOTE: Aftercare for 12/31 will ONLY BE AVAILABLE until 4pm. All other days aftercare option is available until 5:30pm. Precare is available for all days in the series.

Bring your little ones to join the fun and build community each week! From chemical reactions to squishy glow in the dark fun, our Toddler STEAM class provides children an opportunity to learn through play. They will delight themselves by getting their hands messy with STEAM experiments and projects, while nurturing their cognitive growth, and honing their problem-solving and fine motor skills.

Farm Camp is run from our 1-acre school farm in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. We provide an opportunity for children to connect with nature while directly participating in the daily rhythms of farm life. Our day camp is designed to inspire a connection with and love of the natural world, and also a chance to get hands dirty in fun and educational ways. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, crafts and free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

This class is perfect for children who are new to preschool or will be entering into preschool soon. These preschool classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll sing traditional songs and also sing original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our own team. Many songs will focus on the alphabet, building vocabulary, and basic math skills. We will begin to explore basic music theory by introducing children to fun characters such as Octave the Octopus! Each month our curriculum will change to ensure children stay excited about class and are always learning something new while providing them with enough repetition to master new skills and vocabulary. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class. Kiddos will meet a Moonlight Fairy on the last day and perform the Moonlight Fairy Song. Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:00 - 3:30pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. Numbers are everywhere and are important to our daily life. Students will learn numbers through play and interactive activities, including how to count up and down, and working on a science project based on numbers.

Join us for this fun-filled class where we strive to spread delight and wonder by infusing the love of imagination with beginning ballet! All our ballet classes are designed to encourage make believe and to allow children to create their own dances that live inside their hearts! We will frolic around in our favorite costumes using imagination-stimulating games to dance our ways through magical lands!

Follow the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world. Suddenly finding herself in the never-before-seen Land of Luck, she must unite with the magical creatures there to turn her luck around. Our movie nights include theater games, costumes, a film-related craft, and of course… pizza (and carrot sticks)! The fun lasts about three hours, giving you enough time to go out for a nice dinner, take a stroll to The Castro, or just enjoy some time to yourself. 5:30 Drop off and free play stations: coloring, dress up, legos, beading and more! 6:00 Circle time with theater games and songs 6:15 Art project in theme of movie ~6:30 Pizza party and movie begins! ~8:15 Movie ends 8:15 – 8:30 Pick up window **Please take note of the film we will be showing and make sure the themes are suitable for your child's sensitivities** Please remember we are a nut-free studio. Messy, squishy, and totally sensational. Children will engage in a gooey adventure, exploring various slime-making techniques and unleashing their creativity. From vibrant colors to unique textures and exciting ingredients. Get ready for a week of endless art-making fun! Requirements : - 4 -8 years old. NO EXCEPTIONS. - Children must be ready to follow safety guidelines and engage in their projects for 30 minutes or more. - Children must be fully potty-trained and capable of handling their bathroom needs independently. - Any medical conditions (such as allergies or diabetes) and/or behavioral needs (neurodiversity, trauma) your child may have must be informed during the sign-up process. This information will help us make any necessary preparations and provide a supportive and enjoyable environment for everyone. Please note that all information shared is kept confidential. The policy for Messy Art Lab Camps is as follows: - 100% refund for cancellations within 24 hours of registration. - All enrollment fees include a non-refundable deposit of 20%. - Refund of enrollment fee minus 20% non-refundable deposit if cancellation is made prior to 30 days of session start date. - No refund for cancellations made within 30 days of session start date, unless the spot is filled, in which case a refund credits minus the 20% non-refundable deposit will be issued. - Cancellations must be requested in writing via email. - Approval for transfer of camp week to another week will be determined on a case-by-case basis and per availability, with a penalty fee of 20% non-refundable deposit if made within 30 days of original camp week start date.
