Winter Semester (January-Mid March) This class is an open studio class for students wanting to work on their own projects and compositions. This class provides the perfect opportunity for adult artists with a basic understanding of drawing and color mixing to work in a supportive and creative atmosphere on works of their choosing. Individualized and informative instruction will help students develop new skills, gain insights into their creative accomplishments, receive meaningful guidance and feedback, become comfortable with the creative process, and grow at every level. Winter Semester (January-Mid March) Designed for adults that require some adaptive conditions to create their art. Ages 18 and older, for those with special needs but are higher functioning. Adaptive Art is a field that focuses primarily on the students' access to art making despite personal challenges. Art can foster self expression build self-esteem, group participation, self-control and individuality. Students learn to explore a variety of different art materials and styles and are encouraged to trust their own decision-making skills through the guidance of a professional artist.
