Family Day Workshop: Pinch Pot Flower Pots

This is a workshop explores making flower pots using pinching and coiling methods. Family day workshops are designed for parents and children to work on projects together led by an instructor. One reservation ($45) for up to four participants, an $20/person for more than four (paid day of). No experience necessary. There is no age limit, but participants under 4 years old will require much more guidance from guardian. All kids must be accompanied by a guardian. Clay and underglaze are included. This class is a great way for your child to try out violin in a low-stakes, fun, social environment! You'll get to learn a few basics on violin, learn a few songs, become acquainted with the Suzuki method, and make friends. Each week, students will receive a practice chart with unique practice "challenges" to keep their interest throughout the week! We will celebrate with a "mini recital" in the last class, which friends and family members are encouraged to attend!

This is a week long session of exploring clay for kids. Students will make a series of projects in hand building and wheel throwing. They will use pinching, slab, and coiling techniques.
