Week Seven – Under the Sea Dates: July 21–25, 2025 Dive into an unforgettable underwater adventure as we explore the fascinating world of marine life through creative crafts, water play, and absorbing activities to spark curiosity about the ocean. Join us for a week of underwater exploration and fun and a greater appreciation for our oceans and marine life. Wednesday Field Trip: Marine Science Institute – Campers will enjoy a hands-on learning experience at the Marine Science Institute, exploring marine habitats and interacting with aquatic creatures. Friday Special Event: Tommy’s Pirate Adventure Puppet Show – The Puppet Art Theater Company will bring a swashbuckling ocean-themed puppet show to camp, filled with adventure, humor, and imagination.

Welcome to Sharks Swim! Summer isn’t summer without water and swimming! And our swim camps provide the opportunity to build confidence and learn basic swim skills or improve swim skills, with time to enjoy the water, and have a fun camp experience! The day begins with morning check-in, activities, and snack, and then the group heads to Highlands Rec Center for organized swim lessons and supervised recreational swim! Lifeguards are on duty! Then we head back to the center for some serious camp fun, including snacks, exploring, quiet activities, outside playtime, organized games, arts and crafts, games, jump rope & more...a busy day with plenty of exercise and activity! Camp includes two healthy snacks per day and Campers will receive a Footsteps sun protective long sleeve swim shirt to wear.

Field Trip 1: Walt Disney Museum & Presidio Tunnel Tops Park, San Francisco Grades: TK-2nd* When: 9 AM - 4 PM Cost: $65 Field Trip 2: San Francisco Giants STEM Day Grades: 3rd-8th* When: 9 AM - 4 PM Cost: $65 *Older children may opt to attend Disney Museum trip if they prefer **Enrollment is included with a minimum of 3 days per week enrollment. If you are not enrolled full time, please add the drop in fee listed on the extras tab** Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, wheels*, gardening, and activity clubs. Activities will be limited on field trip day. Week Two – Future Inventors Dates: June 16–20, 2025 - Closed Thursday, June 19 for Juneteenth The future is now as campers are inspired to dream, design, and create with hands-on projects, STEAM challenges, and interactive activities to spark curiosity and imagination! Wednesday Special Event: Juneteenth Celebration at Nesbit School featuring: o Juneteenth-inspired art projects o Lunch prepared by staff and families o Games and activities teaching Juneteenth history and Black history o An exhibit on Black inventors and their groundbreaking contributions Friday Special Event: Camp Footsteps Future Inventors Contest – Campers will showcase their innovative projects, celebrating creativity and ingenuity.

Welcome to Racquets & Swim New this summer we are expanding racquet sports to include pickle ball, badminton, and table tennis. Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont, and support from the USTA NorCal, will again offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program. This program combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports in a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem, and social skills. All participants receive an H.I.T.S. t-shirt, wristband, ball, certificate, players/parents manual and more!!!

Wednesday Field Trip: Children’s Creativity Museum, San Francisco – A colorful journey awaits as campers visit this hands-on museum, exploring exhibits filled with interactive art and creative projects that bring colors to life. Friday Special Event: Color Run Celebration – Campers will participate in a fun and energetic Color Run! Dressed in white shirts, they will race through vibrant color stations, leaving them covered in bright hues and big smiles.

NOTE: Closed Thursday, June 19, 2025 Join us as we tour the best amusement & Water parks in the bay area over 4 action packed days: Monday: Great America, Santa Clara Tuesday: Calibunga Water Park (Formerly Raging Waters), San Jose Wednesday: Six Flag's Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo Friday: Great America: South bay Shores Water Park, Santa Clara Friday will be flexible, children will have the choice of the water park or riding regular rides at Great America. Camp enrollment includes transportation and entry tickets. Meal packages are available for Great America and Six Flags under extras, $20 per day. These parks do not accept cash. Lunch can be purchased with prepaid cards or cash can be converted to prepaid cards at the parks. Credits are offered for season passes equal to our cost for group tickets, roughly $35-$40 per day. Credits will be processed when we purchase tickets.
