Welcome to Sharks Swim! Summer isn’t summer without water and swimming! And our swim camps provide the opportunity to build confidence and learn basic swim skills or improve swim skills, with time to enjoy the water, and have a fun camp experience! The day begins with morning check-in, activities, and snack, and then the group heads to Highlands Rec Center for organized swim lessons and supervised recreational swim! Lifeguards are on duty! Then we head back to the center for some serious camp fun, including snacks, exploring, quiet activities, outside playtime, organized games, arts and crafts, games, jump rope & more...a busy day with plenty of exercise and activity! Camp includes two healthy snacks per day and Campers will receive a Footsteps sun protective long sleeve swim shirt to wear.

Week Seven – Under the Sea Dates: July 21–25, 2025 Dive into an unforgettable underwater adventure as we explore the fascinating world of marine life through creative crafts, water play, and absorbing activities to spark curiosity about the ocean. Join us for a week of underwater exploration and fun and a greater appreciation for our oceans and marine life. Wednesday Field Trip: Marine Science Institute – Campers will enjoy a hands-on learning experience at the Marine Science Institute, exploring marine habitats and interacting with aquatic creatures. Friday Special Event: Tommy’s Pirate Adventure Puppet Show – The Puppet Art Theater Company will bring a swashbuckling ocean-themed puppet show to camp, filled with adventure, humor, and imagination.

Welcome to Camp Footsteps Adventurers Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont Parks and Recreation, will once again offer eight weeks of summer camp designed specifically for older children and youth entering fourth grade through middle school. Each day there is something new to do, learn and explore, camp is sure to be a fun adventure! Monday is “Welcome Day” where team building activities are explored. Tuesdays include a morning hike and recreational swim at local pools in the afternoon. Wednesdays are field trip days, with exciting field trips older children and youth love! Thursdays include hands-on STEAM projects in the morning with an afternoon trip to the Belmont Library and recreational swim. Fridays include a special event, community service project, or a trip to Camp Footsteps for our Counselors-In-Training program. Wednesday Field Trip: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo Discounts offered for season pass equal to our cost for group entry. Please let us know when we get closer to the start of camp if you have a season pass. Meal passes for Six Flags are $20. They can be purchased in the "Extras" section. Cash is not accepted in Great America. It can be exchanged in the park for a prepaid card, we recommend providing your own prepaid card or using a digital payment if your child carries a smart device.

Week Six – Theme a Day Week Dates: July 14–18, 2025 Every day is a new adventure designed for creativity, exploration, and fun! Join us for a week of endless imagination, creativity, and fun! Monday: Superhero Day Create your own superhero identity, complete with costume, mask, and superhero challenges. A day to celebrate the powers of kindness, bravery, and teamwork! Tuesday: Wacky Science Day Put on a lab coats and dive into exciting science experiments, from making slime to creating fizzy reactions in this hands-on day full of discovery and fun! Wednesday: Safari Adventure Grab your binoculars and join us for a wild day of safari exploration with a trip to the San Francisco Zoo and discover animal from around the globe and learn about conservation efforts. Thursday: Time Travelers Day Take a trip through history, exploring ancient civilizations, inventing futuristic gadgets, and stepping into the shoes of historical figures with dress-up and imaginative play. Friday: Footsteps Talent Show Extravaganza Showcase your unique talents in an exciting Talent Contest, singing, dancing, magic tricks, and more! What’s your talent? Families are invited to attend this special event.

Week Three - Lost In Space Dates: June 23–27, 2025 Blast off into a week of space exploration discovering the universe and beyond with spacecrafts, straw rockets, and imagine life beyond earth during this imaginative and hands-on adventure. Guaranteed out-of-this-world fun for young astronauts and space explorers! Wednesday Field Trip: Journey to the California Academy of Sciences for a planetarium show and interactive exhibits about space and science. Friday Special Event: Annual Camp Carnival with space-themed games, snacks, and prizes. An optional hot dog lunch available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting charity.

Week Two – Future Inventors Dates: June 16–20, 2025 - Closed Thursday, June 19 for Juneteenth The future is now as campers are inspired to dream, design, and create with hands-on projects, STEAM challenges, and interactive activities to spark curiosity and imagination! Wednesday Special Event: Juneteenth Celebration at Nesbit School featuring: o Juneteenth-inspired art projects o Lunch prepared by staff and families o Games and activities teaching Juneteenth history and Black history o An exhibit on Black inventors and their groundbreaking contributions Friday Special Event: Camp Footsteps Future Inventors Contest – Campers will showcase their innovative projects, celebrating creativity and ingenuity.

Enjoy the evening while your children are having fun and cared for by Footsteps’ staff! The price listed is for Preschool Children, 2+, please select the additional fee under “extras” for infant & toddlers. PNO includes dinner, fun activities, and a movie. Children are welcome to bring Pajamas. Young children will have the option of going to bed. Electronics are allowed, but their use may be limited. Footsteps does not take responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur. PNO is subject to minimum enrollment requirements and may be cancelled if the minimum is not met.

Camp Footsteps Summer 2025 Week One – Let’s Get Moving! Dates: June 9–13, 2025 Kick off summer with energy, excitement, and movement with a week packed with fun, active, engaging outdoor activities! Campers will learn new sports, play group games, and participate in team challenges while exploring how nutrition and healthy living are important. Get ready to move and play with a week full of action and adventure! Wednesday Field Trip: Visit the Magical Bridge Playground, a unique, inclusive play space where kids can run, climb, and explore in a safe and creative environment. Friday Special Event: Camp Footsteps Team Relay Day – Campers will compete in exciting relay races and games to win great prizes while building teamwork and having fun!

Welcome to Footsteps Full Day Camp at Cipriani! **Enrollment is included with a minimum of 3 days per week enrollment. If you are not enrolled full time, please add the drop in fee listed on the extras tab** Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, wheels*, gardening, and activity clubs. Two healthy snacks are included each day, lunch is not provided. *Children are allowed to bring bikes, scooters, and other non-motorized wheels to ride during the day. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn, and children may only use the items they bring.
