Parent's Night Out (PNO) is an opportunity for parents to enjoy dinner out, spend time with friends, take care of errands or chores, and even see a movie! Enjoy the evening while your children are having fun and cared for by Footsteps’ staff! The price listed is for Preschool Children, 2+, please select the additional fee under “extras” for infant & toddlers. PNO includes dinner, fun activities, and a movie. Children are welcome to bring Pajamas. Young children will have the option of going to bed. Electronics are allowed, but their use may be limited. Welcome to Camp Footsteps Adventurers Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont Parks and Recreation, will once again offer eight weeks of summer camp designed specifically for older children and youth entering fourth grade through middle school. Each day there is something new to do, learn and explore, camp is sure to be a fun adventure! Monday is “Welcome Day” where team building activities are explored. Tuesdays include a morning hike and recreational swim at local pools in the afternoon. Wednesdays are field trip days, with exciting field trips older children and youth love! Thursdays include hands-on STEAM projects in the morning with an afternoon trip to the Belmont Library and recreational swim. Fridays include a special event, community service project, or a trip to Camp Footsteps for our Counselors-In-Training program. Wednesday Field Trip: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo Discounts offered for season pass equal to our cost for group entry. Please let us know when we get closer to the start of camp if you have a season pass. Meal passes for Six Flags are $20. They can be purchased in the "Extras" section. Cash is not accepted in Great America. It can be exchanged in the park for a prepaid card, we recommend providing your own prepaid card or using a digital payment if your child carries a smart device.

And our swim camps provide the opportunity to build confidence and learn basic swim skills or improve swim skills, with time to enjoy the water, and have a fun camp experience! The day begins with morning check-in, activities, and snack, and then the group heads to Highlands Rec Center for organized swim lessons and supervised recreational swim! Lifeguards are on duty! Then we head back to the center for some serious camp fun, including snacks, exploring, quiet activities, outside playtime, organized games, arts and crafts, games, jump rope & more...a busy day with plenty of exercise and activity! Camp includes two healthy snacks per day and Campers will receive a Footsteps sun protective long sleeve swim shirt to wear.

Tuesday: Wacky Science Day Put on a lab coats and dive into exciting science experiments, from making slime to creating fizzy reactions in this hands-on day full of discovery and fun! Wednesday: Safari Adventure Grab your binoculars and join us for a wild day of safari exploration with a trip to the San Francisco Zoo and discover animal from around the globe and learn about conservation efforts. Thursday: Time Travelers Day Take a trip through history, exploring ancient civilizations, inventing futuristic gadgets, and stepping into the shoes of historical figures with dress-up and imaginative play. Friday: Footsteps Talent Show Extravaganza Showcase your unique talents in an exciting Talent Contest, singing, dancing, magic tricks, and more! What’s your talent? Week Two – Future Inventors Dates: June 16–20, 2025 - Closed Thursday, June 19 for Juneteenth The future is now as campers are inspired to dream, design, and create with hands-on projects, STEAM challenges, and interactive activities to spark curiosity and imagination! Wednesday Special Event: Juneteenth Celebration at Nesbit School featuring: o Juneteenth-inspired art projects o Lunch prepared by staff and families o Games and activities teaching Juneteenth history and Black history o An exhibit on Black inventors and their groundbreaking contributions Friday Special Event: Camp Footsteps Future Inventors Contest – Campers will showcase their innovative projects, celebrating creativity and ingenuity.

Guaranteed out-of-this-world fun for young astronauts and space explorers! Wednesday Field Trip: Journey to the California Academy of Sciences for a planetarium show and interactive exhibits about space and science. Friday Special Event: Annual Camp Carnival with space-themed games, snacks, and prizes. An optional hot dog lunch available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting charity.

Welcome to Racquets & Swim New this summer we are expanding racquet sports to include pickle ball, badminton, and table tennis. Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont, and support from the USTA NorCal, will again offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program. This program combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports in a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem, and social skills. All participants receive an H.I.T.S. t-shirt, wristband, ball, certificate, players/parents manual and more!!!

Week Five – Farm to Table Adventure Dates: July 7–11, 2025 Take a delicious and educational journey into the world of fresh, locally grown food as campers explore where their food comes from and learn about the journey from farm to table! Through hands-on activities, campers will discover the importance of fresh, local produce and healthy eating through gardening projects, cooking activities, and lessons on sustainability and nutrition. Wednesday Field Trip: Berry Picking Adventure at Swanton Berry Farm and learn about sustainable farming and harvesting berries. Friday Special Event: Farm-to-Table Feast featuring dishes prepared by campers, a "Farmers Market" station, and tastings of fresh, healthy snacks. Families are welcome to join the fest!
