Guaranteed out-of-this-world fun for young astronauts and space explorers! Wednesday Field Trip: Journey to the California Academy of Sciences for a planetarium show and interactive exhibits about space and science. Week Four – Stars, Stripes, and Summer Fun! Campers will dive into red, white, and blue-themed activities, create handmade decorations, and enjoy outdoor games and relays inspired by traditional celebrations. Wednesday: Safari Adventure Grab your binoculars and join us for a wild day of safari exploration with a trip to the San Francisco Zoo and discover animal from around the globe and learn about conservation efforts. Thursday: Time Travelers Day Take a trip through history, exploring ancient civilizations, inventing futuristic gadgets, and stepping into the shoes of historical figures with dress-up and imaginative play. Welcome to Racquets & Swim New this summer we are expanding racquet sports to include pickle ball, badminton, and table tennis. Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont, and support from the USTA NorCal, will again offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program. This program combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports in a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem, and social skills. All participants receive an H.I.T.S. t-shirt, wristband, ball, certificate, players/parents manual and more!!!

And our swim camps provide the opportunity to build confidence and learn basic swim skills or improve swim skills, with time to enjoy the water, and have a fun camp experience! The day begins with morning check-in, activities, and snack, and then the group heads to Highlands Rec Center for organized swim lessons and supervised recreational swim! Lifeguards are on duty! Then we head back to the center for some serious camp fun, including snacks, exploring, quiet activities, outside playtime, organized games, arts and crafts, games, jump rope & more...a busy day with plenty of exercise and activity! Camp includes two healthy snacks per day and Campers will receive a Footsteps sun protective long sleeve swim shirt to wear.
