Hello, my name is Rhoda and I am a native English speaker, also bilingual in Spanish. I love little ones and enjoy my job caring for them in English. That, coupled with my extensive experience and a bachelor's degree in elementary education, gives me a great platform from which to offer families quality services in this area. In addition to previous volunteer or short term experience, I have nearly five years of professional experience. My dream is to give children the opportunity to learn my native language in the most natural and exciting way possible. For this reason, I focus my career, taking only opportunities with the youngest children possible, as this makes learning a second language as natural and simple as breathing. I love using books, music, and movement, as well as everyday activities. I work with the parents to gain the child's confidence and create a comforting, but fun and inspiring learning environment for the child.
