Hi, my name is Porschia. I’ve been working in the nursery room as a room leader at a local childcare for the last two years. I have a range of experience with infants, toddlers and preschoolers, specialising in infants as young as 6 weeks to 2 years. Prior to working full time I worked with a family looking after their young children after school and on weekends, including dropping off and picking up their children from after school activities and other commitments. I am an honest, caring, energetic hard worker and I pride myself on my attention to detail when it comes to the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I am very family orientated which has always allowed me the opportunity to help babysit and mind young children. I am looking at leaving the childcare industry to find a family that I can assist with support to the parents, but also help the children to grow. I have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and am working towards my diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Working With Children’s Check, First Aid Certificate, Child Protection Course, I’m Alert Food Safety Certificate and Epilepsy Training Certificate.
