English Tutors in Sandringham

| I’m a recent graduate of Canterbury University with a BA in English and Cinema, plus a minor in History. I’m in Auckland for a Master’s degree in Media & Film. As a companion to my studies, I would love to tutor for you. I've tutored at Christ’s College for four years. It’s been a richly rewarding position, and it's been a pleasure to learn and grow alongside my students. After working with students from year 9 to 13, in all writing-based subjects, I have never been more confident in my tutoring abilities. My experience includes: - One on one literacy work & NCEA standards - Group work, from essay workshops to script rehearsals - Managing a boarding house on the weekends; making sure operations are running smoothly and students are safe & happy - Most importantly: being a mentor in the student’s day to day lives I have a passion for creativity, artistry and intellectual growth; learning is the foundation of my life. I want to pass my passion on to every student I encounter, just as my parents (both seasoned teachers) and other educators have done for me. I hope to hear from you soon.
