| I provide tutoring for NCEA English, essay writing across all subjects, and reading and writing skills for younger students. As an ex-teacher, I know what your child’s teacher is working towards, and the best methods for achieving great results. My tutoring approach is systematic and engaging. In every tutoring session, the student will practice reading, writing, and speaking about topics that interest them or are relevant to their school work. We will break down the mysteries of writing effective sentences, paragraphs, and essays, and practice understanding texts and forming opinions about them. Tutoring sessions are $60 per hour. Prices include travel costs for students in central and west Auckland. I can also work with students in wider Auckland, but there may be additional charges to cover transport in these cases. Online tutoring is also available.
