Compassionate Caregiver: Empowering Lives with Expertise in Disability and Critical Care Support
|
As an overseas registered nurse with eight years of experience in critical care for adults, I have developed a strong foundation in providing high-quality medical care in high-pressure environments. My clinical expertise encompasses patient assessment, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs, allowing me to effectively manage complex patient needs.
In addition to my nursing background, I have significant experience as a disability support carer in Australia, where I provided compassionate care to individuals with diverse needs, including those living with dementia, severe cerebral palsy, cognitive disabilities, and epilepsy. This role required not only clinical skills but also a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges faced by these individuals and their families.
I have developed skills in managing complex conditions such as epilepsy, employing safety measures and seizure management techniques to ensure patient well-being. I assist patients with mobility challenges including using the hoist and the management and care of PEG, SPC, among others.
I am committed to providing compassionate, competent care that enhances the quality of life for those I serve.
