| Hey there, I am an italian teacher and architect. I have been living in Nz since 5 years. I have worked with kids since i was teenager and after my studies I have worked full time as nanny and babysitter in London. I helped two families. One was made by 3 kids ( 6,11,13 years old - one of them with special needs) and his father. I am still in contact with them and it has been a great experience. In the second family i took care of a 6 months baby, funny how the baby learned italian in only a year :) I love kids and teaching. Now after being in the architecture industry for many years i am looking for a career change where i can do what i like to do and have fun while working.

| I am a masters student at UoA studying neuroscience. I currently work part-time teaching at the university, but I am looking for casual work in childcare. I have also been volunteering in childcare as part of my communities church for around 8 years, and I value my experience working with children very highly. I enjoy all activities with children, and I am competent to tutor any school age up to level 3 - but I specifically enjoy tutoring science subjects. | My primary focus throughout high school and my early years in University was child care and education. I did two different international service trips in high school to Ghana and Thailand, both to teach children how to speak English. This sparked my love for working with children, so I became a swim instructor for ages from 2 to twelve. I loved being able to work with children directly and watch them learn and grow. During my senior year in high school, I was able to work as a part-time assistant teacher for a Kindergarten classroom at a local elementary school and it is to this day one of the most enriching and rewarding experiences of my life. When I entered University, I declared a minor in Education, certain I was going to live abroad teaching children English. While I gained so much from my Education courses, my true calling was politics and I shifted my focus. However, I have missed working with children terribly and am looking to be a warm, attentive, loving member of a family.
