Special Needs Care Jobs in Saint Johns

I am looking for a patient and flexible person skilled in using positive behavioral approaches. Experience with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) or ADHD and/or ASD would be wonderful but not essential, if you are patient and flexible you already have the key skills. My son is chatty and affectionate and sweet but sometimes his brain responds to simple requests as if they are a major threat to his autonomy - so you'll need to be good at either letting things go or coming up with strategies to get things done! Your role would include picking him up after school (Ellerslie), prepping a simple dinner, bath if needed, then putting him to bed - plus a little tidy up if time allows. I'm a solo mum, just him and me at home but we have family next door. We also have 2 kittens. Days flexible.
