I have an 11-month old son and no support system/village, so my husband and I are looking for a caregiver to provide our whānau with some support so that we can have regular date nights, child-free breaks and attend events we get invited to (e.g. weddings). The days/hours are flexible and up for negotiation. Our ideal caregiver would be responsible, trustworthy, reliable, safe, kind, passionate, experienced, nurturing, and provide respectful care to our son. It would be ideal if you were to build a relationship with us and our son to the point where you delight in his existence and treat him like he puts the stars in the sky, while still enforcing kind but firm boundaries as appropriate with him, and genuinely care about him thriving. I’m looking for a nanny for the below position if you might be interested? It’s an ad written by our current nanny Seeking a full day Thursday Nanny for 1.5 year old and 5 year old boys in Riverhead. Starting 5th May. 8am-7pm In a nutshell, you will be with the 1.5year old boy from 8am where you will take him to his 10am swim lesson in Rosedale (this requires you to get in with him). From there you will take him home for lunch, before putting him down for a sleep 11.30/12pm and having your break till he wakes. At around 2pm you will both need to walk or drive to Riverhead school and collect his 5 year old brother, provide afternoon tea and play locally or at home untill dinner time at 5/5.30pm, bath 5.30/6pm and then books in bed. Both boys ideally will be asleep before 7pm when mum arrives home and you are relieved of your day! School Holidays you will be required to have both boys. These boys are great to work with and their mum is ever so great full for your attentiveness to her boys. Pay is negotiable and fair for the right person and to be discussed with the mum. Possible small hand over/intro time for Thursday 27th afternoon with myself and the boys around school pick up time for 1-2hours.

I’m needing help with my two boys after I have surgery on the 13th of September. Drop off and pickups to daycare on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays for 2 weeks doing: dinner, bath, bed etc. Also need help during the day on the 17th and 18th of September all day from 8am - 7pm.
