Hello, I’m a 41 year old solo mum of a 3.5 year old girl. I have several invisible disabilities and unfortunately am unable to work. Because of my disabilities, I require assistance with (and for) my young daughter: - In the morning from 7:00am - 8:00am, - And in the early evening from 4:30pm - 7:30pm, - Monday to Friday of every week. This is a permanent role. I’m looking first and foremost for a RELIABLE helper please, as I (more than anyone) rely on the scheduled assistance. * One helper to do these hours every week day would be amazing (and my favoured option), but possibly this role may have to get split into a morning helper and a second helper for the evening shift depending on who applies to this advert. It’s by no means a difficult role - and I would always be present and help when able or required - but it would involve: Morning shift…. - Nappy changing, - Preparing her breakfast and constipation medicines, - Sitting with her for breakfast, - Getting her dressed, - Hair brushed and styled, - Teeth brushed, - Lunchbox popped into daycare bag, - Assistance with getting her into her car seat if there’s time. Early evening shift…. - Organise any after daycare snacks, - Playing with/entertaining her, - Clean and prepare her lunchbox for the next day, - Bathing and hair washing, - Nappy changing, - Change into PJ’s, - Hair brushed and styled, - Cooking of dinner, - Teeth brushing. * An occasional spot/task of light housework in a quiet moment of a non hair washing night (ie dusting during one evening shift, then perhaps a clean of the bathroom vanities two days later). I don’t mind what age group applies, but the person must be reliable, physically capable, have a clean criminal record, be drug-free, be able to deal with a regular toddler who seems to enjoy being defiant at times, who needs reminding that the adults in the house are Boss, and who needs boundaries kept in place (she’s a great negotiator!). Looking for help 7:00am-8:00am in morning and 4:30pm-7:00pm, Monday-Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday, for a period of 20 days, commencing 20th February 2023. Child is 3 year old girl.
