| I am Ana, I have a B.A in languages and I have worked as a teacher for over seven years with a wide range of levels since kindergarten to young adults in my home country. Now I’m residing in Glasgow working as a Spanish language assitant at The Glasgow Academy. I am professional, responsible and committed.

| I was born in Portugal and at 14 years old I moved to Scotland. I have experience in learning a language because of English but also in school I learned Spanish and did my advanced higher Spanish. I want to teach beginners and students to speak, write, listen and read in Spanish and Portuguese.

| I am a second year biomedical engineering student at the University of Glasgow. I have two years experience as a school support tutor and personal home tutor, teaching maths, physics, chemistry and biology to students aged 11 to 17. I try to personalise my teaching to each student so they can get the most from every lesson. I often let the student take the lead and suggest topics so they gain confidence and feel more prepared for their exams My A Levels are as follows: Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Physics A*, Chemistry A, Spanish A*, French A. I got 5/5 UCAS university offers: University of Glasgow (Advanced second year entry), University of Oxford, Imperial College London, King's College London, and University of Leeds.

| I've worked with students from age 7 to 18 professionally, and have informally tutored university students for over three years. I've studied both Engineering and English Literature, so I have a strong background in a variety of subjects (including English/reading/writing, chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics) and have helped students with everything from basic arithmetic to complex essays and calculus. I work best one-on-one, when I'm able to give students my undivided attention, but I can also handle small groups. I focus on making sure students understand the "why" of their assignments, so the help I give builds their problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. It's about finding the right answer, but also about building the process for getting that answer. It's about writing a strong paper, but also about learning what makes it a strong paper.

| I am a fully qualified modern languages teacher. I have taught French for 3 years for all levels. I am experienced in preparing students for school exams in French (AQA and SQA). I also teach Spanish up to GCSE levels. I am also very experienced in teaching adults. I have worked for different language schools and centre in Europe (Alliance Française) and I can help you to prepare language certification exams in French (DELF/TCF).
