Young, patient and compassionate maths tutor
|
I am a student at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics (BSc EMS, triple major) from India.
Right from my grade 7, I have been teaching Mathematics to my classmates. During my Bachelor’s, alongside helping my friends in Mathematics and Economics, I was officially appointed as a Student-Faculty for 'Research Data Analysis using Excel' at my university (CHRIST, Bangalore, India). I used to teach an Open Elective course on Advanced Microsoft Excel for bachelor’s and master’s students. I have shared my detailed teaching experience of being a Student-Faculty in my CV. Currently, in my master’s, I have been helping a few of my classmates with Econometrics (application of statistics in economics), and Micro- and Macro-economics.
Finally, I am an energetic and enthusiastic teacher with a good understanding of the subject. I love to read and learn new concepts. Above all, I am patient and approachable, which I believe are two vital skills of a good teacher.
To conclude, I am extremely passionate about teaching Mathematics. Given an opportunity, I would give my best to help the pupil learn the subject.
