| Hi! I am a recent graduate with a 1st class degree in Classics from the University of Exeter. I am friendly, chatty and enthusiastic about teaching, of which I have over two years' experience. I tutor Maths up to GCSE, with plenty of experience in 11+, common entrance prep, other school entrance tests and GCSE preparation. I also tutor Latin and Ancient Greek up to A level, and can help you in whichever areas that you are struggling. Grammar is my speciality! I offer two types of tutoring: I can tutor online, using an advanced virtual whiteboard/ video call service, allowing for interactive lessons that combine fun with learning. I also tutor in person within London. I taught Latin while competing my undergraduate degree in Ancient History at the University of Manchester. I then completed my MPhil in Classics at the University of Cambridge, where I was awarded two scholarships in order to pursue the MPhil. I have 2 years experience as a Latin teacher in both primary schools and high schools. I was awarded the Manchester Classical Association's Whitehead Prize for the excellence of my teaching in 2017. I also have 2 years experience tutoring in English and Maths as a Kumon classroom assistant, and 1 year as a personal tutor in History, Maths and English. I have experience teaching children between 4-15 years of age.

| I have just finished my second year at medical school and I am now looking to continue with tutoring as a part time role. I have had experience this year tutoring two boys, in year six and seven, in Mathematics, French and Latin. I find working with children really fun and rewarding, and I really enjoy seeing them making accomplishments and get excited when they finally understand a concept or feel like they can do a particular task. Given my course, I do a lot of medical interviews which require you to talk to a range of people, who are strangers but in doing so, enabling them to trust and share with you. I think this has been really helpful in working with children as I find it easy to build a rapport with them, in order to create a more holistic learning environment so the child feels comfortable. I am highly organised and in my last role, I had to create lessons tailoring my sessions to support and build upon what the young had been learning at school.

| I am currently a university student at UCL, studying Psychology and Language Sciences. I have sat 4 A-Levels (maths, psychology, Latin and biology), attaining A-A* grades, in addition to 12 GCSEs all A-A*. I spent one year tutoring psychology A-level and also tutored 2 children under 10 for 2.5 years.
