| My name is Léa and I am 23 years old. I am a student and I recently moved to Scotland from France. French is my native language and I was an teacher assistant in the USA for a year. I enjoy reading and listening to music! I like using my creativity to create activities. I am patient and positive.

| I am a fluent French speaker and current PhD student in French Studies at the University of Glasgow. Prior to returning to my studies, I worked as a tutor of French and CELTA-qualified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language for nine years, in the UK and overseas. I have worked with a range of students, from those studying for Secondary School examinations, to children and adults relocating to French-speaking countries, to those learning French for business purposes. As a bona fide language geek, I have a genuine passion for language learning and the opportunities both financial and holistic that it offers. I am also well-placed to empathise with how rocky the road can be at times! I enjoy working with my students to find out how they learn best, tailoring my lesson content and delivery to suit their needs and preferences, and helping them to build confidence and enjoy navigating their new language.
