I have several years experience of working with young people and adults with a variety of conditions in a variety of educational and residential settings. As a college lecturer and as a residential childcare worker, I have experience of working with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, ASD and other conditions which require sensitivity, confidentiality and behaviour management. (I am GTCS registered and am CALM 5 qualified.)
I have good communication skills and have many years experience of working as part of a team in a residential care setting. This has required an understanding of child protection procedures, risk assessments and the timely upkeep of logs and written communication.
