Enthusiastic, friendly, adaptable Music and English tutor

I'm Sami - a friendly, approachable, qualified Music teacher. I completed my QTS back in 2013, and have taught in a wide range of educational settings since then, including private tutoring. I have experience teaching all age groups, but specialise in secondary Music teaching and singing tuition. I have taught Music and Music Technology at GCSE and A Level, as well as supporting a huge range of extra curricular activities. I am able to support you in learning general music theory, as well developing your knowledge and understanding of Music in preparation for formal KS4 and KS5 qualifications. I have extensive experience in leading ensembles, having acted as Musical Director for a number of musical productions, and I'm more than happy to help you with any upcoming roles or pit band duties you may have. I have also taught English at KS3 and GCSE level, and am able to support primary school aged children in preparation for the 11+, school entrance exams and equivalent. I am a trained grade 8 pianist and musical theatre vocalist (and VERY amateur bass guitarist!).
