Enthusiastic and Experienced Tutor

I'm an English Literature graduate, practising artist, and have attained a first class certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, my research specialised in children’s development and counselling. I have been tutoring children for over five years in London.
I find looking after and teaching children extremely rewarding, and I feel privileged to have been involved in the education and development of the young people I've worked with so far. I have tutored children from teaching them to read and beginning numeracy up to A-Level standard in English, Classics, History, and Creative Writing. I am comfortable with children of all abilities, confident tutoring young people who are particularly gifted, as well as people who have learning idiosyncrasies/ diagnoses such as ADHD and dyslexia, and neuro-divergent children. I use my skills as a practising artist, teacher, and actor to encourage children and young people to express themselves and learn through having fun and creative games as well as other resources.
I have worked as a guest tutor in Universities and taught workshops to young people in art institutions across London.
