With 27 years of secondary teaching experience as a head of department, as well as tutoring, pastoral care and plenty of work with ages 8-13, I work hard to boost confidence and engagement, which is every bit as important for future learning and life as the knowledge gained. With so many children struggling since the Covid lockdowns, I can help bridge gaps in English learning, and support children preparing for tests and exams, or merely tackling their weekly homework. Alternatively, your child might really benefit from working towards an accredited exam in speech or drama. I can coach, prepare and enter pupils for online exams to boost their communication skills, literacy, expressiveness, knowledge of the world and empathy for others.
