English Tutors in Aberdeen

| I am a passionate and patient English tutor, dedicated to helping students improve their language skills. I can tailor lessons to individual needs, focusing on grammar, reading, writing, and conversation. I love to inspire confidence and growth for every child (or adult!) in a supportive learning environment.

| I am currently in my 3rd year of university doing an English degree giving me a specialised knowledge of the subject. I currently work with primary aged kids organising activities to help them learn and also helping with school work. I also have spent a lot of time helping friends of mine who have dyslexia with their exam work. Often they may find the way things are worded or set out to be confusing so I work with them to look at different approaches that help them to understand what they are being asked. I always try to find a way to make learning more interesting as I believe that we are far more likely to learn if we are engaged and interested.

| I am a second year student at Aberdeen uni, who has worked extensively with children of all ages in both academic areas and otherwise. These opportunities include being a Scout Leader, a Classroom assistant in both Primary and Secondary schools and a volunteer at an after school club. With an astute knowledge of English, History and Politics (with my degree being focused on the latter) I am sure to aid pupils in a satisfactory and stable way.

| I am 19 years old, British and Lebanese and currently living in Scotland. In my A-Levels, I attained the highest mark in the world for OxfordAQA English Literature. In February of 2024, I published my debut collection of poetry, I am in my 2nd year of my Bachelors degree in English Literature and Psychology at the University of St Andrews. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level English, GCSE Psychology and teaching singing.
