| I am a passionate, enthusiastic and hard working person with a great work ethic and ability to adapt to many situations. My late son had a number of physical, medical and mental needs and I have a vast experience in many things needed to support SEN children. If I haven’t done it before, I am pretty sure I can pick it up quickly. I have knowledge and experience in: - tube feeding (NG, NJ and Mickey button) - portacath’s - giving medicine through tubes - epilepsy and seizure monitoring - emergency seizure training - keto diet management - blended diets/specialist formula - keto monitoring/blood sugar monitoring - mobility support - familiar with specialist equipment ie. Standing frames, specialist seating, hoists etc - bathing - keeping wound sites clean (gastrostomy etc) - Physiotherapy support - suction and nebulisers - oxygen saturation monitoring - chest physio - familiar with freego pumps but can be trained in another. I have used and seen nutricia flocare. I am sure there is more but I have lots of skills for families needing some support in their home with young special needs children, even for an hour a day to have some time out. I am willing to support with direct payment.
